Vince Young never felt trusted by Titans coach Fisher

Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams announced Wednesday that his team would come back next year without quarterback Vince Young(notes) on the roster.

While Young thanked Adams and head coach Jeff Fisher for five years of work and a chance to win the Super Bowl, he also told the Tennessean that he never felt fully trusted by Fisher.

"I have nothing against Jeff Fisher. I just wish he would have trusted me a little more. That was the only issue," Young told the Tennessean. "I didn't feel like [Jeff] trusted me. In the five years I was there, I was always looking over my shoulder."

Young went on to say that he had done a lot of work but that "I didn't feel like I was [Fisher's] guy all the way."

Now he'll try to find that trust elsewhere.
